Bates Restaurant
Bates is a charming family restaurant run by husband and wife team Cheryl and John Bates. For the last six years they have been providing their many regular customers with traditional home-cooked food from their diverse menu of British classics.
Head chef John cooks everything to order, while Cheryl looks after the front of house, offering a warm welcome.
Lunch is served from 12pm onwards and dinner from 6.45pm. The restaurant is closed all day Monday, and open for three course set roast on Sunday. During the rest of the week choose from evening specials and a full à la carte menu, including extensive vegetarian options.
