Rhodes South
Rhodes South is the latest offering from one of Britain’s top chefs, Gary Rhodes. Located on the edge of Mudeford Quay, in the stunning grounds of the Christchurch Harbour Hotel in Dorset. It is the perfect setting for this environmentally-friendly waterside restaurant, offering not only unsurpassed views and service, but the highest standards of cuisine.
Opened on 20th November 2008, the new Rhodes South restaurant has its own private entrance next door to the newly refurbished hotel. The restaurant is eco friendly, of timber construction and built by the award-winning company, Baufritz, which only uses natural materials that are free from toxins and pollutants.
The furnishings are tasteful and restful to the eye with soft lighting to match the romantic mood.
Gary Rhodes and head chef Andrew Soddy have created a menu at Rhodes South that features dishes old and new from their extensive culinary repertoire. The menu reflects the location by presenting the freshest seafood and great local produce presented in a manner that is synonymous with the Rhodes brand. The menu is varied and can offer meals to suit all budgets.
You will find a relaxed and informal restaurant with knowledgeable staff, including sommelier Mathieu Gola whose knowledge of wines is extensive, and is happy to chat with guests. Ben is the person to ask about cocktails, he is happy to prepare a special one to suit your palate.
