Tides Restaurant at Captain's Club Hotel
Located in the heart of Christchurch, the Captain’s Club Hotel is positioned on the banks of the River Stour enjoying views over Christchurch Quay. For Tides Restaurant, head chef Andrew Gault and his team have created menus embracing a wide variety of fresh, quality ingredients including a selection of locally caught shellfish. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch 12-3pm and dinner 7-10pm, with the speciality ‘Tides Lunch Experience’ served on Sundays.
The table d’hôte menu provides a choice of three courses priced at £16 for lunch or £25 for dinner. Alternatively, diners can order from the a la carte menu, which includes a superb range of fresh fish dishes.
When the sun is shining, the hotel terrace is available for alfresco drinks and meals – a chance to take in the glorious views of the river Stour and all that Christchurch has to offer.
The bar and lounge is open daily from 8am until late, serving an extensive range of morning coffees, lunches, afternoon teas and light suppers. The extensive wine list gives useful information, including background on the growing regions. The bar also offers an exciting selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with a speciality collection of cocktails, Champagnes and classic wines by the glass.
