Isabel's
Isabel’s Restaurant locally renowned for its excellent reputation for top quality food and atmosphere has been owned and run by Chef Patron Luciano Trisconi and his wife Maggie for the past 30 years. The Michelin guide has recommended them for a number of consecutive years.
Located in a converted 19th century Edwardian pharmacy it still retains many of its original features and unique charm. On arrival at Isabel’s, drinks and canapés are served either at the table or in the lounge where one’s order is taken or in the garden during the summer.
Paolo Rossi their Maitre d’ and their friendly staff create a relaxed atmosphere and the cosy candlelit dining room provides both intimate booths and open-plan seating. Alternatively, there is the Basement Dining Room seating 28 with French doors to the garden where aperitifs and coffee can be served in the summer months. This room is very popular for small meetings or private celebrations.
Although Luciano is Italian, he and Maggie have lived in Brussels and Jersey, which fuelled their passion for French food. The result is a combination of classic French and English cuisine skillfully prepared and beautifully presented. Everything is cooked to order and the chefs are happy to adapt dishes or create something from scratch in the unlikely event that you cannot find anything to suit from the extensive menu. Special dietary requirements are also catered for with prior notice.
There are a variety of menu options to choose from including the A la Carte, £30 and £28 fixed price menus, Vegetarian Choices, as well as special festive menus such as Valentine’s Day, Christmas Day Lunch and also New Year’s Eve. There is also a reasonably priced three-course Bistro menu at £22 per head, which changes weekly (please check their website). Gift Vouchers are also available either by phone or online.
